Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage is performed using smooth basalt stones made from volcanic rock and tumbled naturally in a river until smooth and flat. These stones are heated to between 110 and 140 degrees depending on the client's comfort. They can then be held in the therapist's hand and used as a tool during the massage. They can also be placed on the body in areas such as the low back, along the spine, on the soles of the feet, the face, or the chest. Anywhere that could use a little extra care and relief from a variety of discomforts.

BENEFITS OF HOT STONE MASSAGE

- Relieve pain and tension

- Reduce chronic stress and anxiety

- Promote more restorative sleep

- Relief of pain associated with fibromyalgia, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other chronic conditions
